1°   Terme de jurisprudence. Celui pour lequel on fait une acquisition sans que son nom soit porté dans l'acte.
   Celui pour lequel l'adjudicataire déclare avoir enchéri.
   Déclaration de command, acte par lequel un avoué nomme la personne pour le compte de qui il s'est rendu adjudicataire.
2°   Autrefois, lieutenant.
•   Le père de Villars est donné pour avoir été mis command dans Condrieux par le duc de Nemours, SAINT-SIMON 143, 83.
   XIe s.
