algonquin
(al-gon-kin) s. m.
Individu appartenant à une tribu de sauvages qui habitait dans le Canada, et dont on emploie quelquefois le nom pour désigner un homme qui ignore les usages reçus. C'est un algonquin. Il a l'air d'un véritable algonquin.
