Terme didactique. État d'une chose plate et mince qui est repliée sur elle-même. La duplicature du péritoine.
   La peau du polype peut n'être pas simple, elle peut être composée de deux membranes principales dont la duplicature fournit un nouvel estomac, BONNET Consid. corps organ. Oeuvres, t. VI, p. 68, dans POUGENS..
   XVIe s.
   Les veines et arteres, estant entrées au crane s'inserent en la duplicature de la dure-mere, faite à la division du cerebelle et du cerveau, PARÉ III, 5.
