Terme didactique. Accouchement naturel, c'est-à-dire sans le concours de l'art.
   La mise bas des animaux.
   Lat. parturitionem, de parturire, dénominatif du nom d'agent parturus, devant enfanter (voy. part 1) ; il signifie être en parturition.
