(pa-zind') s. m.
Terme de philologie. Ensemble des gloses qui accompagnent la traduction pehlvie des livres de Zoroastre.
   Pâzend est une aphérèse et une apocope d'upazañti, explication d'une glose, de upa, sur (voy. sur), et zañti, connaissance (voy. zend).
