accrémentition
(a-kkré-men-ti-sion) s. f.
Terme de physiologie. Génération par accrémentition, phénomène caractérisé par la naissance d'éléments anatomiques entre ceux qui existent déjà et semblables à eux, à l'aide et aux dépens d'un blastème qu'ils ont fourni ou fournissent peu à peu ; d'où accroissement des tissus.
   Mot dérivé du latin accrementum, accroissement, de accrescere, accroître (voy. accroître).
