saccharate
(sa-kka-ra-t') s. m.
Terme de chimie. Nom donné à certaines combinaisons que le sucre fait avec les oxydes métalliques. Saccharate de chaux. On dit aussi sucrate (voy. ce mot), et mieux ; car saccharate semble indiquer une combinaison avec l'acide saccharique.
   Lat saccharum, sucre (voy. sucre).
