   Elles marquent probablement la limite extrême de l'affaissement, ou, pour employer l'expression anglaise, de la subsidence du pays au-dessous de la mer.... ces changements de niveau, ces subsidences et ces émergences de grands continents ou de grandes îles pendant et après la période de froid..., CH.
