éblis
(é-blis') s. m.
Nom de l'ange destructeur des djinns, dont il est parlé dans le Coran, et qui fut précipité lui-même aux enfers, par suite de sa révolte contre Dieu.
   Arabe, ablis, désespéré, diable.
